Session #52 · 1891–93

Speech #520099146

If the Senator will allow me. I will state that this bill. although of some importance. is not a bill which involves any difference of opinion either in the House or Senate. It is unanimously agreed to by the Senate Committee on Immigration and by the House Committee on Immigration. Under those circumstances I hope the Senator will allow the bill to pass. It has been carefully examined by every member of the Senate committee and by every member of the House committee. Itis a carefully prepared bill. which involves no controversy whatever with anyone as to anything in it.
