Fitzgerrell. member of the Territorial board of immigration. and who signs himself past department commander. New Mexico Grand Army of the Republic. In that article he states that he is a lifelong Republican. and went to New Mexico from Illinois. He states that the present population is estimated by the bureau of immigration at 204.040. I give it as my own opinion that the Territory of New Mexico in the last eight years has made more substantial progress than either Wyoming. Arizona.
