I move to recommit to the Committee on Military Affairs the bill to reimburse the State of Nevada for moneys expended on obligations incurred by said State and the Territory of Nevada. and afterwards assumed and paid by said State. in the suppression of the war of the rebellion. and for guarding the overland mail and emigrant route. I will state that the subjectmatter is to he investigated under the provisions of the bill just passed. but which does not provide for the payment of the amount found due. I desire to have the bill in the hands of the Committee on Military Affairs. It may b considered at the next session.
