That the words "Chinese laborers." wherever used in this act. shall be construed to mean both skilled and unskilled laborers and Chinese employed in mining. This bill was reported to the Senate and referred to the Committee on Foreign Relations. It was reported back at an early day. the colfmittee proposing a number of amendments. amongst others to strike out sections 14 and 15.
