The Committee on Private Land Claims. after careful consideration. agreed unanimously to report this bill with a favorable recommendation. It is believed that if it is passed and becomes a law private land claims in the Territories of New Mexico. Arizona. and in the State of Colorado. so long a source of vexation and harassment to the people. so long retarding progress and immigration and improvement. will be speedily settled. The importance of this measure is shown by the number of acres o land the title to which is to be settled under its provisions.
