Andrew Jackson. George B. McClellan. Stonewall Jackson. and General J. E. B. Stuart. James Buchanan. Jeremiah Black. General MeCalmont. of Pennsylvania. and a brilliant host. no less distinguished. In the history of our country the names and actions of this early immigration stand out in strong letters. Their influence permeates our institutions and helped to found our Government. His body rests in Indiana soil. but his name and fame live forever in the history of his country.
