Speaking of his own bureau. he says: This socalled Bureau of StatisticsNot of "labor statistics." but "Bureau of Statistics." the Senator will observenotwithstanding its vague and very comprehensive name. is merely a bureau of commerce. embracing transportation. immigration. and duties on imports. That is all he does. He is paid $2.500 a year.
