A careful observer. after an extended tour of observation through our State. writes: " There is no reason why Kentucky should not already have received a mighty current of immigration. excepting the negligence of her people with regard to toir own interests. To convince ourselves of the truth of this lot us make comparison of our development with States of like natural advantages that have proifted by these advantages by affording transportation facilities for the developmont of their resources.
