SEC. U. That the said light of way shall not be settled upon. by authority of said railway company. by noncitizens of said nations. except such omhloyis of said company as are necessary to the successful operation of said railway and tel. egraph line. and their families: Provided. That only agents. operators. omployts. and section men shall be exempt by reason of such employnset from payment of permits as required of other noncitizens of said nations. SEC. 7. That the said railroad company shall execute a bond to the United States. to be filed with and approved by the Secretary of the Interior. in the penal bun of one hundred thousand dollars. tor the use and benefit of the nation or tribe throughwhose reservation said railway and telegraph line maypass. to cover any and all damages which may accrue by reason of the failure of said railway counpany to comply with all or any of the provisions and conditions of this act.
