Speech #470023646

I suppose. my illustrious friend from San Francisco knows. Mr. McSweeny. whose son has written a letter begging of me to get this House to call attention to his father being in Dundalk jail. with a paper of naturalization. with an American eagle. not one of the cormorant character. but one of the American eagles on the paper he holds amd lifting it aloft and showing it to the tyrannical despots who are crushing the hearts out of American citizens in their bastiles. and yet they pay no attention to it. no more. sir. than if it were a crow or a cormorant. Mr. McSweenys son is largely engaed iu business in San Francisco. and. as I have said.
