The German is obliged to prove to the satisfaction of the courtThat for five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character. attached to thoprinciples of the Censtitetien of the United States and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. The Indian. however. is only to prove that he has adopted "the habits of civilized life." not "all the habits." but only one of them.
