The substitute Wts read. as follows: Strike out all after the enacting clause of the bill and insert the following: That any citizen of the United States wins has at any time before. or may at any time after. the passing of this act voluntarily become naturalized as a citizen or subject of a foreign state. or who in any foreign country shall enter into the civil. naval. or military service of any foreign prince or state. shall cease to be a citizen of the United States. and be regarded as an alien. Such perseo may be readmitted to citizenship in the tanner presaribed by law for the naturalization of aliem: Pesnided.
