Certainly there is no more valnable class of immigrants that have come or will come to this country than these Mennonites. I think we ought to hold out this inducement to them. It is very certain that tnless they are induced to eome here by something like this bill they will gate Canada. The Canadian government has held out greater indueem ntsto them to emigrate there than this bill proposes. and I do not think that the atnendicent of the Senator fron iNevada tniproves it. Tami infornied by my friend on itly right that the Canadian governn ent has sent over to Russia an agent for the purpose Of holding out inducenmeits to the Mennonites to emigrate to and settle in Canada.
